I want to give them 5 stars

I really want to give this product 5 stars and wish they could make a few improvements so it would be 5 Star worthy. It’s great that these don’t have to go in the freezer. You fold them in half and shake to activate. I was caught off guard by my delivery and was offered an ice pack in the hospital and then got these for home. I felt instant relief with the ice pack plus witch hazel pads. However, note that the pads are very heavy. Also, they are pretty uncomfortable after the cooling sensation…

Pros
  • Definitely catches all! And comfortable too, which is definitely a plus.
Cons
  • The cold only lasts like 20 minutes, which is very short compared to brands I used in the past!

Should have bought more

These pads aren’t crazy absorbent but I attached them to my postpartum diapers so it was no problem that I bled a little over. The ice feels amazing though it really does not last nearly long enough. They stay cold maybe 30-40 minutes but it makes such a huge difference so it is still worth it. I ran out of these within my first day of labor recovery and I should have bought at least another pack. Go for it. Buy it but definitely use them with some sort of diaper

Pros
  • IF YOU ARE EXPECTING PLEASE BUY IT. ITS A MUST. THANK ME LATER
Cons
  • Not cold enough to work and warms up too fast. Doesn’t really do the job it’s designed for.

Great for PP moms - my new review

I made myself a postpartum basket & boy am I glad I did! Do it! But anyway this is one of the several products I ordered from this brand & I’m so happy I did! First time mom, vaginal birth with an episiotomy so these ice pads were literal LIFE SAVERS! I had NO pain what so ever down there! People say they’re noticeable but like seriously whose going out right after they give birth anyway? Your sore, hurting, & have a newborn to care for!

Pros
  • No need for frequent changes
Cons
  • May not be widely available in all regions or countries

Heavy and don’t last long but SO WORTH IT

Even though these pads weigh kind of a lot in your undies, and the coolness doesn’t last as long as you’d like, I still don’t know what I would have done without these in the first couple weeks post partum. The positive to them being kind of bulky is that the air inside also kind of acts like a cushion to sit on. Such a relief for your sore vagina! Worth every penny.

Pros
  • Highly recommended by gynecologists
Cons
  • Can be wasteful if not disposed of properly

A godsend after vulvar surgery

I had these recommended to me before I had a vestibulectomy, and they really were a lifesaver. I was supposed to ice my stitches, but that's difficult when you're bleeding and need to wear a thick pad. These were the perfect solution, and provided immense relief in the days after surgery. I had purchased one box, and after a day I had already ordered more because I knew I needed them to not be miserable.8 big pads might normally last you multiple days but, since you'll probably want to replace…

Pros
  • I tore and this was a lifesaver. When you are super sore and it's hard to walk this is amazing!
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for heavy bleeding

LIFE SAVERS! - my new review

I found frida mom brand with my last pregnancy in 2020. I was like "nooo way this is going to work or do anything for me🙄” . I have 100% natural deliveries, and usually have to get cut down there to get baby’s head out. With my daughter, I tore since the nurses didn’t listen that I have quick deliveries so I had to catch her on my own. I was excited to try frida mom and originally bought the big box at target that comes with a hospital gown too lol plus this box of cooling pads (I call them…

Pros
  • The ice pads are a must after giving birth. So soothing.
Cons
  • May not fit well for all body types

Lifesavers! best in my review

These saved me after giving birth. I had a natural birth with tearing so I was quite sore and in pain, nothing was helping soothe. The minute I put these on I felt huge relief, I could cry from happiness. These helped me the entire first 3 weeks, definitely worth the price!

Pros
  • great product cools but for 40 minutes.
Cons
  • This product is super convenient but the cold doesn’t last very long

You won’t regret - my new review

Don’t go into labor without this , you won’t regret it ! They are sooo much better than the ones that the hospital gives you .

Pros
  • INNOVATIVE SIDE WALLS: Designed with leak proof side walls to catch and hold all discharge
Cons
  • Potential to leak and stain clothing

The best postpartum care!

These pads are great for that postpartum time. They get the job done, they’re from a trusted brand, and they don’t feel like the diapers you get from the hospital.

Pros
  • MAXIMUM ABSORBANCY: Ultra-flow protection with 6 layers
Cons
  • May not provide enough protection for nighttime use

Short lived comfort

Feel good but I feel like it’s cool for a very short amount of time then it’s just like walking around with a water bag in your cookie bits. My hospital gave me some generic ones of these which did just the same and actually felt like they lasted longer. This is a product I wouldn’t buy again.

Pros
  • Perfect for nighttime use
Cons
  • Can cause sweating and discomfort during hot weather

Didn’t end up using after I got home

After doing some research and reading reviews I thought this would be a good purchase for postpartum.I just delivered my baby about a week ago!I only used these for a couple days after delivery and the hospital provided them. When I got home I didn’t use the ones I bought- I also brought home whatever was left in my room at the hospital and haven’t used those.I found the foaming witch hazel spray much more soothing and comfortable. These are just so thick it feels like a thick heavy diaper! One…

Pros
  • Health Care
Cons
  • Can be wasteful if not used properly

Cold relief that stays in place

I bought this after a bladder surgery that left me with pain and burning. The cooling sensation is perfect to reduce inflammation, and provide some pain relief. The fact that it also doubles as a pad is great for leaks/bleeding. They are very long and thick, so I bought the complementary postpartum disposable boy shorts which are super comfy, and hold the pad in place.

Pros
  • Postpartum mamas this is a must have!
Cons
  • May not be readily available in all stores

Should come with more for the price

I like it alot and its very comfortable conpared to medline but there should be more in the pacl. There is only about 9. You have to keep ordering you buy 3 boxes you spent $60. If yiu have the money then cool, if not then i dont auggest you get it i suggest getting medline

Pros
  • Highly recommended by new moms
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with skin sensitivities or allergies

A Postpartum Must on my review.

Buy these - they are amazing! I had a lot of tearing and stitching after delivering my son, and I was SO happy I brought these to the hospital with me! I ended up ordering a second box because I found them to be so helpful. I will definitely recommend these in combination with the brand’s disposable underwear to all my pregnant mama friends!I’m giving 4 stars only because I found it very difficult to activate the cooling function through the directions given on the packaging (they say to fold…

Pros
  • Non-slip surface
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove from underwear

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not sure if it is worth the money.

I feel like this kit is very expensive for what you get. The ice pack pads (you get 4) and disposable underwear (I think you get 5) are great, and worth purchasing separately. I could take or leave the rest of it. The caddy was helpful but I would have made something else work. I was not a fan of the healing foam spray (dermaplast is better) and didn't love the witch hazel sheets (the circle pads are cheaper and easier to work with). It didn't come with a peri bottle (I bought the Lanainoh…

Pros
  • Essential product for after delivery
Cons
  • May not be eco-friendly

Much better than the ones from the hospital

Didn't know if I'd need these, but I'm so glad I tried them. They're so much colder and better quality than the ones from the hospital. Definitely worth buying.

Pros
  • I wish I new about these earlier. Great for surgery or any pain in the area
Cons
  • Great cooking powers but not exactly great for actual absorbency.

Great cooling feeling, until you sit.

Love this product for the cooling sensation! However, it feels very strange to me personally when you sit/ lay down. Other than that I loved these!

Pros
  • Soft edges for extra comfort
Cons
  • May not be as effective for those with excessive sweating or output

Disappointed! in my review

I had very high expectations with this one since I am a huge fan of Frida products. If I were to compare these cooling pads to the ones they give you at the hospital, I must say I choose the hospital kind over Frida. The hospital kind is thinner and cools more and lasts longer. Frida’s cooling pads barely cools. I don’t know if I got a bad batch but this one only cool a bit for the first 2 minutes. In terms of comfort, I felt I was just wearing a VERY thick period pad. When walking with it on…

Pros
  • No irritation or discomfort
Cons
  • Has potential to cause discomfort or pain during use

Frida mom ice pads for my opinion

Omg loved them they worked good I had my son natural so they worked good for that the pads soothes down there and have a cold feeling to make u feel comfortable and relaxed thanks to these ice pads I wouldn’t know what to do

Pros
  • Perfect for active lifestyles
Cons
  • Has potential to bunch up or shift during physical activity

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They work but are bulky!

The pads work well to absorb any postpartum bleeding and the ice pack keep cool for about 30 mins. The downside is that they are THICK! It feels like I’m walking around with a sloshing inflated diaper like pad! Not to most comfortable feeling.

Pros
  • They are a little bulky. But pretty comfortable and worked excellent immediately after delivery.
Cons
  • May slip or move around during use
