Review on JBL Xtreme Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker (Red) by Carolina Whipple

First of all I would like to say that this speaker is fantastic! It's loud with great sound quality. At maximum volume, it lasts about 6 hours. It also won't connect to the Flip 4 yet. I called JBL customer service and found out that they plan to update the software in August 2017 to allow the xtreme to connect to the Flip 4. But BEWARE of the Revain devices. The unit I bought from Revain had "Europe" written on the bottom of the box and no serial number on the speaker itself. However, I didn't realize this until I bought a second block from a local store. I love my xtreme so much I wanted a second one and it was on sale. When I received my second unit, I saw that the UPC on the box said "America" and there was a serial number on the speaker itself. I've added the pictures to show the box and serial number. In both images, the Revain block is at the top. Update 6 Jul 17: The new one I bought, the US edition, lasted much longer on battery power. I haven't tested it directly, but I'd say I got over 6 hours and still over half the battery. That's about half to 3/4 the volume. I will be at the beach in the coming weeks and intend to do a full blown test to see how much life I can get.
