As I have thinning, color treated hair I have tried many different products over the years to reduce the appearance of my scalp. This product is the cheapest of this type of hair powder and is very effective. When I'm trying to cover areas of the scalp, the included sponge applicator works really well (more on that later). When concealing gray areas at the temple/hairline, I simply use a small makeup brush to apply power, which works well. Only give 4 stars here because the round sponge applicator is too uncomfortable for me. I have a partially disabled dominant hand and find it difficult to grip the very thin, smooth, hard underside of the sponge. If you try to hide hairlines, they end up being linear instead of round. So this form is not really suitable for the forms you want to cover. All in all it's a pretty effective product at a better price than products of a similar nature. I plan to buy it again.
