Review on Horze Avalanche 1200D Lite Turnout by Michael Staton

I am very satisfied with this turnout rug. It is very durable, waterproof (tested in heavy rain) and has a breathable lining. When I got the blankets, I put them on my horses in the evening after rain and wet hair. The next morning her hair was dry and warm under her blanket. Both of my horses seemed quite comfortable in it. One of the horses rolled up in a blanket after wearing it for two days (after the storm passed) and it stayed in place. The dirt was easily washed out of the hose (I removed it from the horse first), and the blanket quickly dried and sagged. I bought a blue blanket and a black blanket. The blue has reflective edges, the black doesn't and I wish it had. I would recommend this blanket for protection from the cold and wet.
