I first used Lansinoh nursing pads after coming home from the hospital, but since I was at home all day I often didn't have to use nursing pads. Except for the cotton pads in my bra. About a month later I started using Lansinoh Disposables regularly and found I was allergic to them. I've tried several other brands of pads that are similarly thin and plastic, such as Medela and Avent, but they all gave me itching and a rash. They are slightly larger than other brands but have a shape that is more comfortable over time and not as noticeable when wearing a nursing bra.
