I ran ethernet cables throughout my house when I built it, but I'm so bad at attaching the connectors to the wire ends that I never finished installing the plugs. I ended up running a 100 foot pre-built cable from my attic to my basement, but it was too short to connect to my router/modem. My son just ran the cable down the hall and it was way faster than my wifi so I finally saw this product, clipped it to the end of the existing cable in the basement and then to the back of the house. Router and Shazam, my speed increased 4x and page loads were almost instantaneous. For the price this was a great purchase.
