Before buying these headphones I bought the same ones and they have worked well for many years, the in-ear design is also very convenient for me. However, this one didn't work properly and my calls dropped when I made a movement that affected the position of the wires (I checked my phone with old headphones and my calls didn't drop). So I don't think this particular model is a design flaw, but perhaps the one I received was faulty.
