We bought this item for my son's room to store extra stuffed animals. We didn't intend to use him as a bench or anything just to get all his little stuffed animals off the floor. I ordered this item because it was said to hold up to 350 pounds so I figured it would be fine for a child's room as long as they sit on it. Well I was wrong, my 51 lb daughter was sitting on it and it broke in half. I think the 350lb strength description is a little off. I didn't buy a guarantee so I shot myself in the foot. You get what you pay for, right?
