When my wife decided to add Quality Audio to her video presentations, I set out to find it. We have a GoPro Hero 9 and the search started from there. If you're looking for it, you've probably already noticed that without "Mediamode" there is no direct way to stream audio to Hero 9. So we got it, and then I found that it has a 1/8-inch stereo input for external mics. After some searching I found more expensive alternatives. I was almost ready to buy it when I came across this little beauty. Information on key features of much more expensive versions at a fraction of the cost. I was skeptical at first but once I started using it it became obvious that this thing works! And it works fine! But there are a few things that may or may not be important to you. First, it's not waterproof. So be careful not to get too wet. I'm sure it's okay with a little drizzle, but I'm willing to bet it's going to rain heavily. Second, it doesn't have a status indicator (or any sort of display). So if that's important to you, you might need something Shelling out money for a more expensive alternative are really the only downsides I could find. It has a built-in mic, or you can use the included lavalier mics. Both have a wind cover that is included. There are many videos on YouTube about it, so just do a quick search. That really helped me with the decision.
