I have been using this product for over 2 years and I have to say that while not in the same league as its high end competitors it is excellent value for money offers and it does about everything these $200+ brackets offer. I'm currently using it with a Canon semi-pro SLR (40D) and a 550EX flash. I usually use a Canon 16-35mm L or a Canon 28-70L and both lenses are larger (in diameter) and the frame handles them easily. You can adjust frame base, flash height and position. Mount so you can accommodate most camera/lens combinations. The flip motion is smooth. I prefer this non-captured version to the captured version. The device is also really portable and fits nicely in my camera bag. The only downside I have is that the flash holder screw needs to be tightened well otherwise it tends to loosen. I'm in the habit of checking from time to time and haven't had any problems. I recommend!
