Review on Benriner BN5WH Turning Japanese Stainless by Vanessa Campbell

This thing is amazing. It's a bit bulky and inconvenient to wash to be honest as there are so many places for water to "hide". BUT, it works amazing. The first thing I did with it was mashed sweet potatoes. The result was a paper thin ribbon that I took and placed in hot oil. It was essentially a "funnel cake" made out of sweet potato "chips". They were bloody amazing. The machine's stainless steel parts are of excellent quality, and like the Germans, the Japanese (mostly) get it right. The cover is a bit whimsical and the instructions are full of Japanese cartoons. But if you can handle all of that, this is a great little tool that does what your hands can't.
