What a serious pain in the neck! None of the screws or sockets on the included hardware fit directly into my 55" Samsung flat panel TV. The VESA template was fine as advertised, but the screws/eyelets used to attach the stand to the back of the TV weren't the right fit. I tried all 3 lengths of 8mm bolts first with no socket, then with 1 socket and finally with 2 sockets and every combination was either too short or too long. I was able to find the right length to attach the bracket to my TV using 1.5 grommets and a 45mm screw. The instructions showed that I didn't even have to use the plastic grommets for the flat screen, only for the curved TV. Of course, it would be nice to have a 30mm length on the M8; that would work great. For some reason only M6 is provided. Also, the instructions say you need a 14mm socket, which is wrong. The correct size is 13 mm (1/2″). With 14mm (35/64″) I couldn't tighten the nuts at all.
