We have been feeding our 10 week old dog this brand of lamb and rice mix for over two years. It did well (she always liked puppy and adult mixes) and we had faith in it - we thought it was a better dog food than most. The chunks were smooth, dark, and richly scented, she never had petrol, and she was easy to "pick up" in the yard. But everything has changed. The last few packets looked and smelled a little different, but this recent packet is VERY different: the granules are golden instead of dark brown as before (see image), they don't smell as rich and sparkling. and grainy appearance. The color of the food was so different that we reconsidered and checked the package to make sure we got what we needed! After just one week we noticed that her stools were no longer dark brown, which they never were. , and a bit loose - and oddly enough they looked KREIDER when they were allowed to sit and dry. (?!) This continues, and now she often has gas, which she never (never) had. Although she still eats it, we switch to a different brand and start exploring. Has anyone else had this problem? I have to look at other reviews over the past few months...there is just SUCH a difference - in and out - can't be denied. Side note: when I came in to order this latest bag six weeks ago, the descriptions of all the formulas had changed and it was confusing what we were actually ordering (it still listed adult lamb feed as "senior"). That's when I noticed a column on the right with an ad for Diamond Naturals "Grain Free" products. I don't know how new it is now, but it was new to us back then. We wonder if it has anything to do with that. We should have asked for a refund straight away. Stop wasting money on this garbage, don't trust anymore, I don't recommend it.
