Failed on first use

The impeller failed on first use causing the engine to overheat and I had to row the 18ft boat several hundred yards back to the dock. The outer rubber is separate from the inner brass key. I was able to fix it with epoxy to reattach the parts, but a failed impeller can cause serious and costly engine damage. This is now generally an acceptable result.
