I wasn't sure I'd lose $100 on a boys suit but oh my god! It's nice. It's a deep red, not quite burgundy or burgundy. The detailed button looks a bit cheap up close, but is clearly visible from a distance. The vest is a good material, also on the back where it is usually a cheap material. This vest can be worn solo, it's so pretty! The lining on the inside of the jacket is more of a brighter red, which I don't usually like, but the contrast is great. He is a tall 7 year old. I usually buy him a size 8/10. I chose size 8 for this one and it's a bit tight. I think 10 would be too many.
