I just had an emergency hysterectomy and needed a higher cut bottom to hide the scars on my knees. I ordered custom made and it fits perfectly. I also received it in red and will order white again. What I like is that they are slightly higher on the hips than regular high waist pants. I have wide hips and the low-cut butt makes my hips even bigger. It's more of a traditional cut-out at the hips, but has a higher waist for more tummy coverage. You can still see my belly button, so it's not too high either.
