This cardigan is a solid purchase. It is nice quality and warm. It definitely is soft too. It is a little more than I wanted to spend but still worth it. I love the color I got. I would just follow the directions and hand wash if you’re concerned about it not staying soft. I would even get a size smaller than your normal if you want it to be more fitted. I love this machine! It's half the price of the Breville device that does the same thing. It makes froth for cappuccinos, lattes, iced cappuccinos, and simply warms milk. I like to warm milk to make hot chocolate, put it in a cup, and then use it again on the capppucino setting to get more froth to put on top of my hot chocolate. The froth is nice and creamy.
