I bought this edging to prevent metal bar stool backrests from chipping the sides of a granite countertop. The long strip of this black edging comes without the double-sided tape installed. You apply the tape on both surfaces of the 99 degree edging. When you gently pull the tape cover off as the edging is held in place, it keeps ripping. This was very easy to install. We used it to line the tile edges of our fireplace. The tile is shiny black with speckles of silver and gray. This black edging is barely noticeable. It doesnt take away from the design of our fireplace. The foam is pretty thick and sturdy. Our 20 month has played near it and sat on it and the foam hasn't moved. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to baby proof!

Easy to install, seems fine so far, but it's only been 2 days. We'll see if it still sticks after a year or two. But so far so good!

Super love this product went and bought two more rolls I loved it so much it adheres great is super effective in baby proofing hard edges on desks or tv stands and you can barely see it once applied. Highly highly recommend if your baby proofing

I don't really have an opinion yet. I purchased this product to use on a octagon-shaped children's table used in our church nursery. Someone else installed the bumper cushion strip. Since the corners are not the usual 90 degree angle, it was a little tricky/loose at the corners and it may have to be reinforced. I have yet to try the installed product with a group of active children but my hope is that it will prevent head injuries when a child climbs under the table. The tape does not reach…

This item had all pieces included and was in new and good condition however. They way it was pictures was much wider. You cannot use this for say your hearth as it’s far too narrow. The baby could still easily get hurt.

Adhesive doesn’t work on wall ,I bought particularly for this to protect my toddler from having accident with sharpie wall but didn’t work at all every time I push that guard on wall .I need to buy another adhesive to stick safety guard on all.

The product was great, unfortunately it didn’t come with the adhesive so t”Walmart refunded me to buy another set. If it had it all to start it would get 5 stars.

Good product, I just wish it came pre-adhesive instead of you having to put it on yourself. The adhesive may damage the finish of some types of furniture! Very sturdy/sticky though.

It’s easy to install, but the 3m adhesion tape doesn’t stay on for long. My 8 month old was able to peel it off the table. The 3m adhesion tape leaves a sticky residue which I difficult to remove from the table. I would recommend using the type adhesion tape that comes with the KidKusion Soft Hearth pad. It keeps the guard down and leaves no sticky residue.

Keeping because it's non-toxic which is better than the other brands, but for the price, this roll was ridiculously small. They included all the corner pieces in their overall size and you have to really dig to see that it's only 18 ft. And no parent has time for that.

The product was very easy to use. I did find that adding the 3M tape was a bit tricky. It did not want to stick to the slate edge. I also found that I needed to cut the edge longer then my measurements, as the tap shrinks it. Decided to switch to carpet tape and it adhered perfectly. My grandchildren will be protected from the hard edges of the slate. Very happy!

My baby started waking at 10 months. We bought other bumpers like this and he ripped them off with no issues. These are tough. He can’t rip them off. He fall… A LOT and though the impact hurts a little, he’s never cut his head or gotten a scratch once these were put on. Way better than the other brands I bought.

I got these to cover the edge of each level of my daughter's bookshelf and these are great.She just started to walk in the past month and from time to time she will bump onto the shelves and these protected her pretty good. No more ouchie and tears. They are really strong and soft. After installing these, my daughter is now using these as a step to climb up her little bookshelf to get books on the top. All of these still remained strong, non of them fell out so far.

This was so helpful for the cheap IKEA bed we bought. The bed that if you turned a corner too quickly near it the edge would slice you or bang you up. This way I could keep the bed and make it safe for everyone . The edges are easy to use and stick great!

I think this is a thermal problem. The day I installed, it guards all along the edge. But several days later, the length was shortened.

I've used another brand before and this one is less firm and smaller, but it does the job and a bit cheaper. Adhesive is ok, it's not crazy strong but it'll hold, at least for a while until kid learns how to rip things apart XDI just wished they sold the long strip separately, since I don't use corners that much.

I was very concerned about my baby falling off the bed and getting hurt on the frame. He likes to climb on and off and jump ok on the my bed. I just kept imagining him hitting the frame and getting really hurt.After I put this on all my fears were gone. I even tried it myself, applying pressure to see if I'd get hurt. It felt very soft. No more worries. I ran it all around the metal bed frame.
