Update: contacted the company a month ago because the weld near the base sepreated. The company sent one relacement piece which was wrong. It wasn't even a part of the stand we own. So we took pictures and asked for the correct part. We recieved a fully sealed box soon after and it was completely empty. We have requested a refund. Time to look for a new stand.We put the stand on our covered front porch and use it with our "Golden Hammock" swing. My whole family uses it; ranging from ages 4 to 73. It is our peaceful escape and reading chair. It fits perfectly on our porch. We added a spinning connector so that we can turn the hammock chair in any direction. It's totally stable. It was releively easy to assemble once we figured out that the center of the stand is raised off the floor. My husband and son put it together fairly quickly. We even thought about bringing it on vacation with us to use at the lake house we went to. Next time we probably will.
