I've used this twice on the road. It worked great each time. I didn't hear or see any leaks during the inflation.I read online instructions. I might have even seen a youtube video. I, of course, tested it out once in the comfort of my garage so I could verify I knew what I was doing, since you only get one shot using the cartridge. Doing it on the road for the first time adds risk of a mistake. The tool screwed on fine to my presta valve. If the tool runs into the rim when you screw it on, it is your mistake for using valve stems that are too short for the tool.If there are no leaks while inflating, then the size of the CO2 cartridge determines the final pressure of C02 in the tube. Too low? Get a larger cartridge.I have no idea of the long term durability of the tool.
