The description states that this product works with pins 24 inches apart. The width of the device itself is 24 inches. Too short for two studs that are far apart. Are the studs 16 inches apart? No problem. I would go in one bolt and then use drywall anchors for the other side, but the instructions for bolt only installation are very clear. So unfortunately I had to return the product. Which I think is a misleading description of the product (if this mount can indeed be used with studs 24" apart then the instructions need to explain mounting in one stud and attaching to drywall on the other. And drywall anchors that would also include this parenthesis if applicable). This is a very good mount. As long as your studs are 16 inches apart you will have no problem fitting either side of this mount into your own studs (which I prefer for a TV this large). This mount is very durable and otherwise very easy to install. I wish it worked for me.
