For some reason I have had a very difficult time finding desiccants. I finally got lucky and found this device and it is absolutely perfect. I'm currently having some issues with ventilation and condensation in my underground, so I got this unit to turn on 4 fans and a drain pump when the humidity got too high. It's absolutely perfect. It's a larger device than I thought it would be, about 4 inches wide and 6 inches tall. Very durable construction. I've tested it extensively by holding it over a humidifier that I always have on hand when I'm nauseous and it turns on with no problems after a minute of steaming and turns off after about a minute when out of the steam is taken. Important note: This device has a current limit of 7.0 according to the label on the front, so be very careful how much load you put on it. My fans and pump add up to about 4 amps. Yes, you should look at the respective device and power consumption values and add them up. If your fan/pump/etc. only lists the power in watts, there are simple conversion formulas you can find on google, it's easy (Hint: W/B=A, A*B=W, and the standard US output voltage is 110V). .
