In this test we compared other matte Nyx colors including Tea Rose. It's a matte lipstick that doesn't moisturize, but it doesn't dry out either. I have semi-sensitive lips that sting when the lipstick dries out and I haven't had that problem with it. The color is quite heavily pigmented. The color is not permanent, but it is not advertised either. Tea rose is a cold color with a lilac tint. Nyx's matte strawberry daiquiri doesn't look like strawberry at all, but to my lips it looks like coho salmon with a bright orange hue. Nyx matte Audrey is a hot pink on a white base with a cooler blue undertone. I compared Audrey to Effervescent by Nyx Velvet Matte because they are so similar. In my photos you can see the shower (left) compared to Audrey. Effervescent has a warmer undertone compared to Audrey, who has a blue undertone, but overall both are very vibrant on my warmer skin tone. I like tea rose best.
