I have an L-shaped desk in the corner and there are a few outlets at the desk, but not enough for all my computing and peripherals. You also get surge protection to protect your electronics. Don't forget the USB slots, which with a sufficiently long cable you can also use as a charging station. If you're looking for something smaller with enough outlets then this would be a great buy. There were no problems with this.
