I had just returned from a trip to Ireland and this bag passed security checks 3 times with no problems (twice for US security, once with Irish security at Dublin Airport). The agents saw my liquids in that bag on the tray and didn't even take a second look. The bag is sturdy and holds up well through weeks of packing and repacking preparing for a trip and throughout the trip - the zip has been used dozens of times and still works great. The bag came in very handy during my trip as it fits well and keeps my belongings where I can see them well. The attached strap handle made it easy to pull the backpack out of the backpack. I'm sure I'll continue to use this (and the other two that come with it) regularly, even if it's not for flight safety, simply because it's a great little organizational bag. Very happy with this product!
