Good for practice in my review

Otoscope works great the ophthalmoscope is a little hard to use probably due to the novice status of user. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • It arrived on time. Works just fine, but uses up batteries FAST!
Cons
  • The otoscope and ophthalmoscope are difficult to handle and operate, making it challenging for novice users to get accurate readings

Perfect for school for my opinion

I read so many reviews about whether or not to spend a lot of money on scoops. My opinion is don't do it. These are way good enough for what you will need to do in school. I can see just as many structures in the eye as those with the Welch Allyn. The only real difference is the light is not adjustable, which you don't need, and the overall brightness isn't as great. The only thing I am not able to do with these is transilluminate sinuses which you probably won't do after school anyways. The…

Pros
  • Fast shipping. Good for school and international use
Cons
  • The set doesn't come with enough accessories or replacement parts, such as specula or bulbs, which can lead to additional costs and inconvenience

Better quality than expected

Bought this for rural and overseas work. Better quality than expected. So far, this is out performing my colleague's low end Welch Allyn pocket set.Update: The plastic lens on the Otoscope is out of focus. There's no way to adjust this, so it must be a manufacturing issue. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this till I was working in the hills of Guatemala. Absolutely could not make out any landmarks in the ear. Maybe the cheap Welch Allyn is a better way to go. If I hadn't thrown away the box and

Pros
  • For the cost it works just fine. Not all the bells and such but is very nice.
Cons
  • The sleek, portable soft case is flimsy and prone to breaking or tearing, leading to a shorter lifespan for the product

Decent devices especially if travel involved

bought these for travel to a medical mission- though not as "accurate" or bright, these are much less bulky than my classic Welch Allyn devices and worked well for the situation.

Pros
  • Easy to use, great build quality, no issue what so ever
Cons
  • The high performance xenon lighting is harsh and uncomfortable for patients, making it difficult to get accurate readings

luckily the company let me return it easily.

there was something wrong with the opthalmoscope and I couldn't see through it. I had an opthamologist take a look at it and she said there was something wrong with it too. luckily the company let me return it easily.

Pros
  • terrific product, will continue doing business. was fast and accurate
Cons
  • The product is expensive compared to other similar sets on the market, making it less accessible for budget-conscious consumers

Perfect for school on my review.

This is all you need for med school! Ophthalmoscope does the trick (and you can't see much with these anyway. no matter what you spend). The otoscope is superb. I'll come back and change this if they don't hold up, but build quality is good. Also, the otoscope takes standard welch allyn bayonet pieces. The light source is great on the otoscope and good enough on the ophthalmoscope. Highly recommended if you don't have tons of cash for premium gear that you are unlikely to use past school

Pros
  • Everything as promised. The only problem is that theyou get really hot in about 3 mins .
Cons
  • The product is not customizable, meaning it may not meet the individual needs of different users or medical professionals
