Works great during landing!

! UPDATE 10/2/2020! We're back from our 10 day road trip, here are my results. It was connected to the grid and since August 14 has been working as a beer fridge with a temperature of 34 degrees. A few days before I left I set the temperature to 15 degrees and used it as a food freezer and to make ice cream, it worked perfectly. During the trip we used a combination of power supplies, our Jackery 1000 gym, cigarette lighter and AC power. (NOTE - turn AstroAI off when changing power supplies and DO NOT FORGET to turn it back on, our meal plans changed quickly because we forgot to turn it back on). trip and has been carried in and out of the car countless times. The only issue was making sure there was the required 5" airspace around it as our jeep was quite full for this trip. END OF UPDATE 10/2/2020! ORIGINAL REVIEW! It's on a multi-day trip overland by car at a campsite. AstroAI at full power withjackery at 98 percent. The ambient temperature was 74 degrees, the internal temperature of the AstroAI fridge/freezer was 89 degrees. It took 30 minutes for the internal temperature to drop to 4 degrees (note I didn't put the content in AstroAI). Then I set the temperature to 34 degrees and loaded them with 22 twelve-ounce cans. The next day I switched AstroAI to ECO mode. At full power it consumes: compressor running and cooling 40-45 watts and an occasional 2 second burst up to 48 watts. t consumes 1-5 watts. In ECO mode consumes: When the compressor is running and cooling 30-38 watts. After cooling, it consumes 1-5 watts. I used a 110 Jackery outlet, not a 12 volt outlet. In total, he worked 76 hours on the Jackery 1000 without reloading. This involved opening to find the best way to load the maximum number of cans, allowing them to cool from room temperature, and opening the lid 12 more times to get 12 cans out. Connected to 110 and running since August 13, I have ECO power and set to 34 degrees, fluctuates 4 degrees plus or minus. Things are going well. So far my observations and experiences are: GOOD - cools fast - light and compact - great price - great customer service - quiet operation - 3 battery protection options NOT THAT GOOD - while black is the current trend, it's a terribly heat-attracting, heat-retaining color for a cold-keeping item. - Interior dimensions can be slightly wider/taller to accommodate standard 12oz beer/soda cans without sacrificing space. I plan to use it as a standard 12oz beer/soda/water fridge and sometimes as a dedicated long distance freezer. AstroAi will see more use over the coming weeks, we have a 2 day city ride and a 2 week ride both on and off road. I'll let you know at the end of September how it's going!
