Installation problems

Good materials, meets my needs. The only problem was that after drilling the two inch hole according to the instructions, there was almost nothing left for the mounting screws. I had to turn the screws inside out to make it work.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Update available

Excellent product with a hang

The quality of the plug is not bad but the contacts in the socket are misplaced. It can still be used but the security tab found on top of most extensions (also seen on the stock image) will need to be cut off in order to use this product. Otherwise, it makes a high-quality and durable impression. Time. It would be 5 stars if I didn't have to modify every cable that plugs in here.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • old

Ideal for facilitating the charging of boat batteries.

Very easy to install! 2" hole saw and pre-drilled screws in fiberglass make the job easy. The cable is long enough to connect to the charger plug. Looks good after installation and is waterproof. I would recommend putting some clear silicone around the hole before screwing it in just to prevent water from leaking out over time, but it's not necessary as it has a rubber seal.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Volume

Not 15 amps or 14 AWG, you're paying for features you don't really get.

The name of this item is "NOCO Black GCP1 15A 125V AC Port Plug with 16" Built-in Extension Cord" and it's actually only 13A, not 15A and 16AWG, not 14AWG. I have more Paid for this item than for a cheaper one which appeared to have a more secure and watertight method of attachment with more mounting screws due to the 15 amp 14 AWG advertised on this item, if I knew they were the same I would save some money and go with another. I find it IMPOSSIBLE to believe that this article does not mention

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Good quality but some fit issue.

For starters, this is a well made product. It's waterproof, has a well-fitting protective cap and is generally of good quality. The pigtail is quite short, but that wasn't a problem for my application. I installed it on a Taylor Dunn car that was outside so I didn't have to keep banging the extension cord on the door. The only problem I had is that it doesn't fit into new expansions without modification. The newer cords have a bulge that prevents someone from inserting the three-prong plug…

Works great on my bass boat!

Worked great for connecting to my 3 battery charger on my old Procraft boat. Before installing this I had to climb onto the boat, lift the cover at the stern of my boat and reach for the end of the plug in a place I really couldn't see very well to plug the plug into the power strip to charge the batteries. This item fit almost perfectly in the same hole next to the passenger seat that the original port plug was in. This plug was connected to a charger that stopped working and was removed…

Pros
  • This is amazing

Great from NOCO as always

Great from NOCO as always. I use this as the main entry for my 16ft Scamp fiberglass trailer. While you might be concerned about this thing's ability to drive an amp, note that while the cable is only 16 gauge, it's also only a foot long. This means that you can easily draw 20 amps with it. Is it designed for that? no Have I tested it for heat by drawing 20 amps for an hour? YES SIR. The ambient temperature was hardly exceeded. Tested with an IR laser guided temperature tester. I am using this…

Pros
  • Peak power - 15A current rating with reinforced 14 AWG copper wiring for maximum current flow and full-size AC port pins for maximum conductivity
Cons
  • Minor issues

Saved me from reinventing the bike --- again.

I have a long one Traditional ways of making things are a lot more complicated than they need to be. All I need is power for my barn mower battery in winter. The barn is 12 meters from the garage. Of course, it didn't take long before I started thinking about ditches, backboards, UF #6 cables — because after that, I might just need to get some heck of a load of power out there (12 feet from the garage) and it might come in handy. stop it, just stop it Plug in this unit - drill a 2" hole, apply…

Pros
  • AC Wall Plug - 125V Outlet with Integrated 16" Outdoor Power Strip for Automotive, Boat, Marine, Truck, Trailer, Pickup, RV, Industrial & Electrical Applications
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Good quality, a couple of serious design flaws

I bought it Assemble Put a good plug in my truck's front bumper to make it easier to connect the chargers for my dual AGM batteries. All in all a quality device that appears to be very waterproof, plus plus points for the small drainage hole for the cork cavity in case water gets in. The flimsy #6 sheet metal screws went in the trash, I'm sure they will eventually rust and not be strong enough. Now for the negatives, I hope someone at NOCO will read them and be able to consider a few minor…

Pros
  • Plug-N-Play - Simple, flush mount, flanged power jack, easy to install, requires no wire modification or manual wiring and mounts in a 2" hole
Cons
