Great from NOCO as always

Great from NOCO as always. I use this as the main entry for my 16ft Scamp fiberglass trailer. While you might be concerned about this thing's ability to drive an amp, note that while the cable is only 16 gauge, it's also only a foot long. This means that you can easily draw 20 amps with it. Is it designed for that? no Have I tested it for heat by drawing 20 amps for an hour? YES SIR. The ambient temperature was hardly exceeded. Tested with an IR laser guided temperature tester. I am using this with my small IG800W generator to boost my 400 watt Renogy solar system. It does everything I need for MUCH less than a regular detachable power cord. An added bonus is that you no longer have to lug around that massive and heavy 30 amp cable. I have never needed so much power in my small trailer.

Pros
  • Peak power - 15A current rating with reinforced 14 AWG copper wiring for maximum current flow and full-size AC port pins for maximum conductivity
Cons
  • Minor issues
