I bought these to use in my spin classes. I sweat a lot and they help to keep the sweat from dripping on my arms and onto the bike or floor. They also keep my arms cool. I like that they absorb the sweat but do not feel wet while wearing them. I have only used them twice and washed them out in the shower, but I think they are great. Ok, My husband works in Roofing & Construction for 20 years, and is VERY dark skinned where he's exposed due to the sun, (he is mexican) so I got these to protect his skin, he works in the sun the entire day, and he loves them! The quality of the sleeves I ordered seems fine, however, I've only opened 1 of the 2 packages and put on the sleeves today for golf. I noticed a dark, raised spot of material on one of the sleeves that seems like a fabric flaw. Having just put on 1 pair today, and not having washed them yet, I don't know if this material flaw will open up and turn into a hole after washing. This product is so soft. It's a little akin to a very thick supersoft knee-high or maybe similar to some very soft liner products for cold weather. I have a lot of pain in my arms and hands from neuropathy, carpal tunnel, and Ilene nerve issues which greatly limit my activity and often land me in bed. A trip to the grocery can do it. These are perfect for an extra layer of warmth. It’s perfect when you want to be warm but not weighed down with a heavy jacket or coat.

I don't work outside without these on. They're hot to wear in the summer, but I eventually got acclimated to them. They do not keep you from getting bruises on your arms, but I think they lessen the severity. They do help keep your arms from cuts and jabs (if you're a gardener and work with trimming bushes and trees.) Like I said, I put them on every time I work outside.

Ive used these several times and my early review is that theyre as described. The material is very stretchy and soft. I live in SoCal and wear these for cycling so that i dont keep getting sunburned (even with sunscreen). I want to start off and say I like these sleeves in many ways. They fit nice and snug.and they do not slide down your upper arm.which is huge.
