This little AMP amplifier is small and powerful. Not a full 800 watt muffler, but more of a 300-400 watt muffler. The tone controls aren't great, but for the money it's worth it. Waterproof and easy to install. Would I buy again for a golf cart project.

I'm pretty sure this amp will perform as well as the Jensen main unit. I bought it in 1996? It works as described and works great to power a barbie jeep speaker set. obviously I returned it.

Great amp for marine and space constrained applications. Yes, this little pup is so small and has so much power. 100W RMS x 4 channels. That's impressive for its size. I have used these amps in many applications from subwoofers to cooler stereos to car speakers etc. Very efficient. especially for the price ($72.99). Half the size of a typical aftermarket car audio amplifier.

Okay this is a decent amp for the money. However, the power rating is not even close. I used this for a patio sound project and it works well in that setting. Decent sound (again for the money), I doubt it will work well on a boat as it struggles with background noise. I gave it a 3 out of 5 based on its power rating, but for small applications (projects) with little (or no) background noise, the value increases.

When I hooked it up to my two 7" Alpine Marine speakers, I was very impressed with the volume and sound quality of the little amp. I can't confirm what sound is playing as it arrived 3 days after I ordered and stop for a day spent by the heat. spent another 2 hours the next morning before throwing in the towel. There is no way of knowing if it is on (LED off). I've never had sound, so I'm assuming it just wasn't working since it was properly plugged in. also noted that it was a return because 1) the box was only sealed with tape, no shrink wrap 2) a waterproof bag was missing 3) some cables were missing zip ties. an empty…
