The power specification is VERY high
Okay this is a decent amp for the money. However, the power rating is not even close. I used this for a patio sound project and it works well in that setting. Decent sound (again for the money), I doubt it will work well on a boat as it struggles with background noise. I gave it a 3 out of 5 based on its power rating, but for small applications (projects) with little (or no) background noise, the value increases.
