I bought these for my car stereo installation project because the larger inside diameter would fit heavy duty speaker wires. Well that part worked, but of course with larger wires inside the set screws will NOT seat fully. When that happens the outer barrel will NOT screw on. The keyboard cover doesn’t fit - I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro with cd-dvd drive model A1287 - and as you can see in the photo it’s just millimeters off and causes the cover to buckle in the middle at the space bar. I have 3 issues with this pillow.First, it’s not as firm as I want it to be. Seems a bit flat when I need more support when I put my legs on it. Wish there were more cotton inside?Secondly, the edges of the velcro are very sharp and hard. It scratched my thigh while sleeping and it hurt so much that it woke me up many times during the night. The original tips were clogging, and the disc wouldn't clean very well. Easy swap.except the original tips were VERY tight, so I ended up heating the fittings with a propane torch.just about 30 seconds.then they came right out. Just be careful as the heat will transfer down the pipe, so when you go to hold the bar to prevent rotation on the install, it will be rather toasty. I disliked not being able to use the product at all due to malfunction. I opened a brand new box to use for the first time & found the Gel Base difficult to open. After soaking it in hot water for 3 minutes (recommended by the manufacturer), the top of the bottle came off completely.
