A lot of light for the money. I use dozens of these for my photography students. Not a single lightbulb has died of old age. They break beforehand, usually from excessive twisting or falling. They use so little energy that they can be placed in standard lighting fixtures if space allows. Good to use as "practical". If you're a seasoned lighting professional, you'll see what I mean. Equal to a 250 watt incandescent lamp but with balanced daylight. A bit of magenta missing, but not bad. A 10-point Roscoline gel is enough if you want to be at your best. Low heat so you can wrap them with tape or thin wire.
