Too bad they are falling apart :(

These are very good lights in terms of lighting. They REALLY are full spectrum and even last 6+ months (probably 3+ months on 24 hour use ).If all you are interested in is a lightbulb that gets results then this is the perfect 5 star lightbulb, however I would NOT recommend this lightbulb for anything that requires frequent movement or physical handling as I don't think they will designed for this type of activity or just isn't physically strong one of mine fell apart moving - dangerous!

These lamps have many flaws!

These lightbulbs are huge! These are great bulbs if you have a very large lamp or need a very large lamp to maintain brightness and have a fixture to hold it. 1 lightbulb pulls down on my faucet style fixtures because they are so heavy. And also. In fact, they are not very good for photography. Not really. LEDs do a much better job of providing the right color and good lighting. PLUS, the biggest downside to these lightbulbs is the horrible chemical smell when they're on. There were no smoke…

Good lightbulbs. My fault

Good bulbs. My fault, but I already broke one. As you've probably noticed by now, these bulbs are pretty big. The total length is about 10 inches. They have a standard US Edison (Medium) base so they will fit almost any outlet, but your light needs to have enough room for babies. I use them in a cheaper Impact brand device with a diffuser. These higher wattage bulbs put out more light, but don't expect them to get red hot in the 1930's. These special lamps are designed for 5500K colors. I…

Lots of products for the money. Fragile so be careful.

A lot of light for the money. I use dozens of these for my photography students. Not a single lightbulb has died of old age. They break beforehand, usually from excessive twisting or falling. They use so little energy that they can be placed in standard lighting fixtures if space allows. Good to use as "practical". If you're a seasoned lighting professional, you'll see what I mean. Equal to a 250 watt incandescent lamp but with balanced daylight. A bit of magenta missing, but not bad. A…

Huge pears, huge difference.

Ordered these bulbs to replace a smaller set that broke a few weeks ago. I do product photography, so I needed to replace it asap. It was a good price and the performance I was looking for so I ordered it. They arrived quickly and in adequate packaging to protect their fragile glass. However, I was surprised at how big they are! They easily reach 10 inches in length from the threaded end to the glass tip and are 3 to 4 inches in diameter. I was afraid they wouldn't fit my light stands, but they
