I bought this set of three because I always lose my trusty ⅝" wide tape measure when working on multiple projects. These tapes are made of soft vinyl and are only ½ inch wide. They don't always stay flat on a project, especially when folded. However, they are easy to pierce with a straight needle or attach to fabric etc. to get accurate measurements. They're not the same quality as the wider, heavier tape measure I've used for years, but they're a handy way to make sure I always have a soft tape measure on hand when I need it.
