Died a year later and almost doubled the price
Update: Shortly after posting this review, I found out that this item is no longer manufactured. :( I wanted to try taking out the rechargeable battery to see if I could buy a new one but I couldn't figure out how to get at it. Then I took (it was DISCONNECTED) a screwdriver and just stuck it in the little plug pin in the handle that the charging adapter plugs into and voila the red light came on again fingers crossed it actually charges this time I bought this a year ago and love it but it does didn't ask for more and now the price to replace the entire scrubber has gone up to $30!
