Best size for bags, cases and sleeves

I got tired of lugging a regular briefcase/bag through airports and wanted to go back to a backpack but a little thinner. That's great. I don't have much with me - a 15 inch laptop, an iPad, 2 Rocketbooks, a few folders and notebooks and some small items. This backpack is perfect and still has room but not too much.
