Works as it should!

Work! I took a test strip as soon as I received it. My hair is naturally light brown, but I have regrown blonde to medium blonde highlights. I left the product undiluted for about an hour to see how it did before applying more and possibly ruining my hair. It's a semi-permanent color, meaning there's no developer to open the cuticles and apply the dye. So it basically just coats your strands like a conditioner. If you have previously bleached or highlighted your hair, it will have some porosity, making the hair more likely to pick up the color. If you do this on virgin hair, meaning the cuticle is completely undamaged and non-porous, it will likely fade quickly, if at all, because basically like a conditioner, it just slides off. Since it's lavender in color, your hair needs to be lighter to see results. Think of it like a purple marker on paper. It is clearly visible on white paper, but not at all on black paper. Unless your hair is white or light blonde, consider the color wheel when applying. Purple is the opposite of yellow, so applying it to yellow or orange hair will likely just neutralize it and create a muddy brown sort of thing. As for the product itself, if you follow the above criteria, it works. It's more conditioning than drying and has a really sweet grape flavor. I can't say how it fades yet, but as with all semi-permanent dyes, it depends on how much your hair has grabbed at it.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
