Review on πŸ•ΆοΈ Experience Unparalleled Style with Maui Jim Peahi Wrap Sunglasses by John Larsen

One big happy head

This was actually a lost replacement for a pair I bought almost eight years ago which were still in fantastic condition (except for a few small scratches on the lenses due to oil fingers). and toddlers), so I can talk about the longevity of the products if my good friends at Maui Jim haven't made any major changes to production methods in the meantime. Anyhow, I think this latest pair is actually a slight improvement over the old pair as the frames seem to fit my oversized head (seriously, I wear a size 7 7/8-8 beanie). While the older pair pinched just above my ears and allowed the slightly curved front to "bounce" a little on my face, these fit more snugly to my skull without pinching or leaving large ridges on the sides of my head. In an ideal world, the lenses would be a little darker to make my light blue eyes happier and allow me to peek more often when warranted, but I can't complain about that. Everything looks bright and they only make me squint when the sun is actually shining directly in my eyes (although given my sensitivity to light, I make anything but a welding mask susceptible in this regard). Lens contours and wide temples prevent light spots from entering the slits. Protection for sensitive eyes? Check. Fits well and you're looking for someone with a head like a Peanuts character? Check. Proven durability for more than seven years of daily use in all climates and regions? Check. These are the best sunglasses I have ever had and if I ever lose this pair (knock on wood) I will come back to buy the same ones again.
