Wow just wow these glasses are impressive

I am very impressed with these glasses. The quality is excellent, the spring loop frames fit my head perfectly. Additional details such as rubber inserts integrated into the nose for more comfort are a plus. Polarized ultra-thin glass offers clear images and UV protection. I find myself looking over my glasses to compare the view through the glasses and I'm amazed at the extra detail I see. The best sunglasses I've ever bought. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not everything fits

I bought my first pair in 1983 at Ala Moana in Honolulu. I was a professional fisherman in Hawaii for 5 years, lobsters were 500-1000 miles north of Oahu. Being at sea for up to 70 consecutive days per voyage, working on a white deck on a 95ft boat, spending all day in the South Pacific was all about protection from the elements. Having and wearing Best POLORIZED sunglasses saved me, my Maui Jims were basically the best gear I had. To this day I am sold and refuse to wear anything else. Thank…

The best sunglasses I've ever had.

These are my second Maui Jim Peahi sunglasses and they are by far the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I had my first pair for 5 years and finally lost them overboard. Knowing they couldn't be returned, I bought a new pair the same day. HCL Bronze lenses are perfect for blocking the sun's rays on a clear day, but let in enough light so you don't have to remove them when driving through a long tunnel. I have Costa goggles with water specific lenses that block glare just as well and allow me to

I don't always wear sunglasses, but I do when I do. I prefer MAUI JIM.

Nothing beats Mauis. I've had sunglasses of all brands from Varvatos and Versace to Ray Ban. Nothing compares to the quality of the frame and clarity/color of Maui Jim lenses. Kostas jokes and ridiculous. Trust me, I laugh at my brother and his inferior "del mars" all the time. I started out with the world cup and after a lot of abuse in the oil industry where I got bitten by a dog and set on fire they finally gave up so I tried aviator style Dawn Patrol. Good set, but not for active people…

The best that Maui and Peoria has to offer!

I didn't fit them in the store and then bought them from Revain. Я позвонил MJ и спросил их мнение, если с этим набором и только дужкой 130, но с полным изгибом-8, думает ли она, что кто-то, кто будет носить 145, возможно, 140, если этот конкретный изгиб 8 все еще подойдет me. She thought they would, and I took a chance. Well they fit like a glove. Everywhere is perfect - the bridge of the nose, the arch and absolutely everything to keep the sunlight out of my eyes. They weigh about 0.5 ounces…

Clarity is the greatest feature! HD for your eyes!

This is the second pair of Maui Jim Peahi Wrap shoes that I have owned. As we are currently required to wear a face covering during this Covid-19 pandemic, you will see some fogging on the lenses on this particular model as it is glass. If the lenses are cold and you put them on a warm face, they will fog up a little since the lenses are glass. However, I don't know of the best clarity and polarized lenses on the market, and you get those because of GLASS, not plastic. In my opinion, the fall…

Peahi in the turtle frame is AWESOME!

I have had a stingray in turtle since 2016 and love it. Peahi in the turtle as the stingray's older brother. The fit is perfect for me as is the Stingray, not too big and they have the most amazing case. I can also press them firmly against my face without cinching the inside of the lenses, which ruins clarity and requires frequent cleaning. Let me just say that a tortoise shell frame is better than a rubber frame. It's not even close. When you hold it in your hands, you can immediately feel…

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly dented

One big happy head

This was actually a lost replacement for a pair I bought almost eight years ago which were still in fantastic condition (except for a few small scratches on the lenses due to oil fingers). and toddlers), so I can talk about the longevity of the products if my good friends at Maui Jim haven't made any major changes to production methods in the meantime. Anyhow, I think this latest pair is actually a slight improvement over the old pair as the frames seem to fit my oversized head (seriously, I…
