I have had a stingray in turtle since 2016 and love it. Peahi in the turtle as the stingray's older brother. The fit is perfect for me as is the Stingray, not too big and they have the most amazing case. I can also press them firmly against my face without cinching the inside of the lenses, which ruins clarity and requires frequent cleaning. Let me just say that a tortoise shell frame is better than a rubber frame. It's not even close. When you hold it in your hands, you can immediately feel the build quality, just like I did with my Stingray frame. I received the Local Kine direct from MJ last week and the frames no longer had the 'Made in Italy' mark on them. So I don't know where they are made now. The tortoiseshell frames are VERY comfortable, even more so than the rubber frames which made me feel like I was wearing a straitjacket, with the rubber frames there isn't enough room to air my face. I understand why some people complain about the rubber frames fogging up. You don't have that problem with a tortoise, and don't worry, the tortoise's frame blocks the same amount of ambient light. I was also happy to see that the outer box was sealed with a label ensuring they never try on anyone else, I've included a picture of this. And the other end of the box is designed in such a way that it is impossible to open without tearing the box. So lucky to have her!
