These combs should not be combed through the hair, they will break.
It is very difficult to find beautiful combs! They are very cute, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The teeth of the smaller combs in the set have extra plastic (I'm guessing they were made back then) that does nothing but break the hair. I was disappointed with this purchase as I can only use a 3 way comb and 2 brushes without breaking my hair or clients hair :( Will try to upload photos of the combs later
