What a wonderful book! I bought this to dress up Madame Alexander and Ginny dolls but the rag doll pattern is great too. This book would be great for a grandma or mom to do with a little girl. Since I don't have any grandchildren yet, I have to play alone. The book starts with easier projects first, then the next chapter gets a bit more difficult, etc. I love hand sewing and this book works even if you don't want to use a sewing machine. A must have for anyone who enjoys making dolls or designing small garments. This book is ideal for those with very little sewing experience or for advanced seamstresses. The directions are very broad. Patterns can also be customized for a boy doll. I'm so glad I bought this book!
