Review on 🚂 BRIO World 33889 Crane & Mountain Tunnel: Exciting 7-Piece Train Accessory for Kids 3+ years, Multi by Bilal Cartwright

I bought this crane and mountain set for my 3 year old who loves trains. Like all Brio train products, this model is well made and very attractive. This is currently our second largest train accessory after Brio's Garage, so it takes up a lot of space on our Melissa and Doug train table. Pros: 1. It makes very realistic and fun sounds when wagons go through the lower tunnel. The tones are activated by a magnet and are not too loud.2. There are many ways to play with this accessory. It features a ground floor tunnel, an overpass/bridge tunnel and a fully functional crane.3. The top of the mountain can be removed to add another tunnel elsewhere along your path, for a total of 3 tunnels (see my attached photos). The set includes a wagon, crane operator and golden weight, so your child can enjoy this toy right out of the box. There are small ledges on the mountain where gold can be stored, which looks very neat and realistic! Disadvantages 1. The main disadvantage is the way the two ascending parts of the path join in the upper tunnel. They do not snap or secure into grooves or lugs. They just lean against the mountain, which causes the track to slide often and sometimes curve. Brio really should have gone the extra mile to add rail connectors or grooves for a more solid and less annoying game. This mountain has a big footprint. Expect it to take up most of your train table when you use it. All in all, this is an amazing train accessory, if not cheap. I paid $60, shipped, and sold the Revain. Be wary of third party sellers trying to sell this toy for three times the market price.
