My 3 year old picked out these super cute Minnie-esque sunglasses so we could play outside with eye protection. She wore them for about 30 minutes before she ripped the lanyard apart trying to pull the lanyard off of the ear pieces. She then dropped them on the ground and rolled over them with her scooter, bending the earpieces back and ruining the hinges. Now the sunglasses sit wonky because the hinges have been mangled and can't be put right. And the lenses are super scratched because.well.they've been beat up. We still use them and as for their UV blocking abilities, they work well for that. The frames and lenses have remained intact despite being abused. So while these sunglasses are super cute, and if they're cared for well I'm sure they're fantastic, but they don't hold up to the promise of being uber resilient.
