I sleep very lightly and have been looking for a really quiet humidifier for a long time. I've bought and returned several each marketed as 'quiet' or 'quiet' with well researched sleep patterns and generally good reviews. me, but it is one. Doesn't buzz, doesn't gurgle, doesn't buzz. It really is almost noiseless. I have it on my bedside table and I can't hear it at all. It helped increase the humidity in our bedroom without disturbing my sleep at all. Can't recommend enough!
