I tried a lot and it turned out that
the red part is installed. It does not snap to the Peloton pedal. I must have gotten a broken one. The red part is much larger than where you should cut it off. Tried 30 minutes and gave up. It also looks wrong. Return and collection of Peloton boots. Edit: I tried a lot and was able to pin them. Difficult to pinch and release. Also, the upper part of the shoe is uncomfortable to wear. It had to be all Velcro.
