Review on Big 757 Light Activated Aerosol Dispenser by Kiesha Butler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought 6/2018, will update as needed (updated 10/12/2020)

UPDATE 10/12/2020 I have purchased 4 units since this 2018 review. The first one was bought 6/2017, another one in 2018 and one in 2019. Each of these dispenser manufacturers have problems. All I can say is what works for us here at the hockey rink. We have people like that on the team who pay for the dressing rooms and my office so they don't break. Three of the four blocks are still in operation. They're ready to go when the dressing room lights come on. D size batteries mean I change them less. I get nothing for this review other than helping others. Now that the price is going down this is a good buy. ************************************************* * ******* I have bought generic, Lysol, Glade etc. all here at Revain. Some of these were bought for the hockey locker room, so the programmable devices worked best since my office only required 12 hours of work and 12 hours of rest. Bought 6/2017. It's only been a week, but so far so good. The device is very easy to set up. The Big-D cans I bought look like the standard size cans from Rubbermaid and others. This device doesn't have as many spray time and day configurations as others, but it does have the ability to read light. For me that's a big plus. I have it in my windowless office, and when I come in and turn on the light, a pleasant scent greets me, I've chosen a potpourri. I will update my reviews over time. //www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-Commercial-FG516900OWHT-Programmable-Dispenser/dp/B005KCPUL2/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1530576417&sr=8-8&keywords=rubbermaid+air+freshener+dispenser2018 updateBought 2 units February 2015 and a third unit in August 2016. Almost July 2018. The two units of 2015 left only a few weeks. The 1st just stopped working, died. The second has a crack in the battery compartment to keep the batteries from touching the contacts. The device stops and beeps while the full battery indicator flashes. I will keep it for parts. The drawing lasted about a year before the 2016 device wore out. Still a lot of money for these devices but I've gotten about 3.5 years of daily use. 2011 (Nice units bought two more 5/2013) Looks like they are no longer made or model changed bought 12/2008 (again a good unit until it starts to fail then it sprays the whole spray can and leaves a streak on the wall and on the floor.) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GRCI0M/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1Waterbury bought 4/2007 (error too early 12/2008)
