This is a fun watch for my 7 year old. She really wanted a real watch and we think it's a fun watch for beginners. We like that it's very easy to set up and get started. It has everything you need. The functionality is good, there are several games, a camera, music, a timer and a stopwatch. It's not a real exercise watch that doesn't need it, but it does have a pedometer. She can navigate it on her own and learned to use it very easily. Battery life is pretty decent. In general we like it. We think it's a good starting clock for them that isn't too overwhelming or distracting. We definitely think the quality could be better, but it's good for the price and age. It fits her comfortably and the color is great. Please note that it is not waterproof. I hope this helps you with your shopping.
